Cards on "The List" are curated by WotC to "pay homage to the past of Magic". They will use their original frames, but with a small planeswalker symbol in the lower-left corner, similar to the Mystery Booster reprints last year. "The List" is a selection of cards from Magic's history which are being reprinted. Since many posts currently are asking what "The List" is, here's a quick summary: I hope I haven't messed up, my math sucks. The rest of the product is basically a draft booster with less commons and uncommons, and a bit more foils sprinkled in there. Cracking packs will feel more blingy because of the extra foils, but not too much so - art card and list cards will probably do the heavy lifting because they are novelties. In terms of value, you get less draft chaff, and more collectible commons & uncommons, and a slight bump in rares and mythics, which should make up for the extra price but not be a clear bargain. So, obviously, in terms of pure cardboard, you're paying more money (20-30 bucks more?) for less cards (roughly one third less) - WotC profits!
